Study Habits
Hey everyone! I thought I’d start this off by giving you some great study tips, especially as we are exercising distance education during this pandemic!
Cue cards:
These are so helpful when studying for tests. It’s great to use them for definitions and phrases you have to remember. When studying, you can go over them until you learn them. These are also of course helpful for presentations, you can write down what you need to say on them instead of a messy sheet of paper!
Highlight:
It really helps to highlight your notes and/or text book (if allowed) so that you can keep track of the key components in what you’re reading. It helps you when you’re studying as well so that when you look back through your notes the important parts stand out.
Colour Codes:
Colour coding things help so much! If you have different coloured markers, pens or highlighters it would be super beneficial to colour code your notes. This way it helps organize your thoughts and you can organize the important parts of what you’re studying!
Agenda:
It really helps to keep an agenda, schedule, daily planner, etc so that you can write down all of your homework and due dates from projects or tests dates. This way you won’t forget and can organize what days you will do what tasks, this way your work won’t pile up all at once and you won’t become overwhelmed.
Hope some of these study tips help!
